Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson
Age differences happen in sports, but rarely do you see a 31-year age gap in the boxing ring. That will be the case on Friday, nOvember 15 for Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson, as the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion takes on the 27-year-old social media influencer turned actor turned boxer. The fight will take place in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium after it was postponed due to a medical emergency suffered by Tyson in late May.
The undercard will actually feature Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano for the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight titles.

Paul vs. Tyson Prediction
The 6-foot-1 Paul and the 5-foot-10 Tyson will be fighting at heavyweight. Paul is said to be aiming for 230-240 pounds and Tyson last fought at 220 pounds against Roy Jones Jr. back in 2020.
As a professional fighter, Paul is 9-1. Most of his wins have come against MMA fighters and his lone loss came to boxer Tommy Fury. His last two wins have been over Andre August and Ryan Bourland, two professional boxers.
Tyson is obviously the more accomplished fighter, but that was a long time ago. Tyson and Jones fought to a draw on November 28, 2020 in Los Angeles. That was his first fight since 2006. Tyson’s last professional fight was at the age of 38 in 2005 when he lost to Kevin McBride. Iron Mike actually lost three of his last four fights, including his final title shot against Lennox Lewis by KO on June 8, 2002.
Paul is fighting a huge name here in Tyson, but it is hard to have any idea what to expect from the former champ. Paul’s youth and progression into being something of a respectable fighter are the reasons why he is favored in this bout. Say what you will about fighting MMA guys masquerading as boxers, but those are guys with good cardio and some more recent data points on fighting with their fists than Tyson.
Early money seems to prefer Tyson, but Paul should have the better cardio and the better body, especially with Tyson’s back problems in the past.
