(stats as of Wednesday morning)
The Hoosiers will send out a low-post duo in Trayce Jackson-Davis and Race Thompson that is combining for 16.4 rebounds per game, with Jackson-Davis also logging 19.4 points and three blocks per game. He leads a group that is 17th in the country in rebound rate and 10th in points allowed on a per-possession basis.
Iowa is just 158th in the country in points allowed per possession on defense, but second in points scored on a per-possession basis.
The Hoosiers have had problems holding onto the ball, ranking 214th in the country in turnovers on a per-possession basis, but that rate is better on the road than it is at home. The team has shot 36.4 percent on 3s away from Bloomington, compared to 34.5 percent at home.
With Indiana in the top 30 in the country in defensive rebound rate and blocked shot rate, the Hoosiers will give Iowa a more difficult test than expected at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Thursday.
