The Bobcats have had quite the program turnaround since last year. Ohio went from a 3-9 squad to 9-4 this year, and Head Coach Tim Albin was rewarded with MAC Coach of the Year honors for doing so. What’s also impressive is how the Bobcats were able to navigate the back half of the season without its star quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who went down with a knee injury. In came CJ Harris, who, since, has thrown for 393 yards while completing 32 of 64 passes, along with one touchdown and one interception. Even though his throwing numbers aren’t the strongest, Harris can attack you with the ground effort as he has rushed 26 times for 115 yards over the past three games.

On the other side, Wyoming is a depleted team. The Cowboys will be missing their top-three running backs and will resort to its fourth-stringer, Joey Braasch, who rushed the ball 29 times for 91 yards this season. Also, Wyoming will be without its top receiver in Joshua Cobbs. Despite those absences, the Cowboys will still have a viable path to scoring. The Bobcats sport the nation’s second-worst pass defense and allow 32 points and over 424 total yards of offense per game. So even though Wyoming’s starting QB, Andrew Peasley’s stat line isn’t the greatest (1388 yards, nine touchdowns and eight interceptions) he may be able to capitalize against a poor defensive unit.

Ohio is receiving the initial love as this game opened a pick’em but has now seen the Bobcats move to a one-point favorite. This game’s total has decreased from 44.5 to 42.5.  — Danny Burke
