Monday was a relatively slow sports betting day after an action-packed weekend with just 6 MLB games, but we did have the College World Series decided, though LSU’s title-clinching victory was anti-climactic.

MLB: Faves went 4-2 on Monday with the upsets by the Tigers (+175 in 7-2 win at Rangers) and Brewers (+150 in 2-1 win at Mets). Home teams also went 4-2. Unders led 3-2-1 with push in DET-TEX (9).

More MLB: On the season, favorites lead 676-478 with 19 games closing pick-’em. Home teams lead 616-553 with 4 neutral-site games after the Cubs-Cardinals two-game set in London. Unders improved slim lead to 567-558-47 with 1 no-action.

CWS: No. 5 LSU routed No. 2 Florida 18-4 Monday night to clinch the College World Series (2-1 in the CWS Championship Series between 2 SEC teams). The ViewFromVegas is the Tigers were -135 favorites in the decisive Game 3 (flew way Over the betting total of 9.5 runs). Fave and Overs were both 2-1 in the series (LSU won 4-3 in Game 1 as +115 underdog; also the only Under of the title series).

USFL (ICYMI): Favorites/Overs are 2-0 so far in the playoffs. Including the regular season, underdogs still lead 22-20 SU overall and 27-15 ATS (64.3%). Unders still hold slim lead at 22-19-1 (53.7%).
