As always, Adam Burke will have daily best bets to give you some ideas of what to back when it comes to moneylines, run lines and totals. However, I’m tackling player props here, and I’m targeting Joe Ryan, Nick Senzel and Jurickson Profar on Wednesday, May 24th. Keep reading to find out how I’m betting on each of them.

Here are our favorite MLB prop bets for Wednesday, May 24th:
San Francisco Giants at Minnesota Twins (-155, 7.5)
Joe Ryan has been electric for Minnesota this season, as he’s 6-1 with a 2.25 ERA and has 66 strikeouts in only 56.0 innings of work. Tonight, Ryan gets to go up against a Giants team that is rather weak offensively. San Francisco is just 14th in the league in wRC+ against righties this season, which is pretty bad considering this lineup is built to beat up on right-handed pitching. The Giants also have the second-highest strikeout rate in the league against righties.
With Ryan being a guy with superb swing-and-miss stuff, it just isn’t hard to see this being a game in which he cruises. Ryan has only pitched more than six innings twice this year, but this Giants lineup should allow him to throw at least 6.1 innings. That makes this a tremendous play at +130 odds. I think he gets to 7.0 innings pitched here. It doesn’t hurt that this is a very early game for a team from California.
Bet: Ryan Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+130)
St. Louis Cardinals (-155, 11) at Cincinnati Reds
We had this exact play in yesterday’s meeting between the Cardinals and Reds, and Nick Senzel ended up coming through for us with an RBI double. Now, we’re looking to the 27-year-old to go to work against Steven Matz, who is just 0-5 with a 5.05 ERA this season. Matz has already had six starts in which he has given up six or more hits this season, and he has just looked very beatable thus far. That makes this a great matchup for Senzel.
This season, Senzel is batting a ridiculous .455 with two doubles, two homers and seven RBIs in 33 at-bats against left-handed pitching. And while that batting average is unsustainable moving forward, it doesn’t necessarily need to go down tonight. Senzel has been playing some of the best baseball of his career this season, and I think he easily comes through for us again here. This game has a very high total and he’s going to want to do his part if this ends up being a high-scoring affair.
Bet: Senzel Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)
Miami Marlins (-165, 11) at Colorado Rockies
Sandy Alcantara is taking the mound for the Marlins on Wednesday, which might make it seem like a bad idea to back Rockies batter props. But Alcantara is just 1-5 with a 5.05 ERA on the year, and he has given up 10 earned runs over his last two starts. Alcantara also has the highest hard hit percentage since 2017, and it just seems like opponents have a better idea of how to attack him. With that said, Colorado props shouldn’t be off limits, especially in a game with a total of 11.
The player I’m going to in this one is Jurickson Profar. Profar hasn’t had much success against Alcantara in his career, but he has always been a switch hitter that prefers to face righties. This season, Profar is batting .261 with seven doubles, five homers and 16 RBIs against them. He’s also doing most of his damage at home, so the fact this is a Coors Field game will bring out the best in him.
Bet: Profar Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
