Oklahoma City Thunder (-3, 229.5) at Orlando Magic
Oklahoma City is playing its final game before the All-Star break tonight, and that break cannot come soon enough. The Thunder won and covered against the Kings on Sunday, but they are just 4-4 SU/2-6 ATS in their last eight games. Oklahoma City surely wants to go into the break on a high note, but the scheduling situation is not in their favor tonight.
Orlando comes into this game with two days of rest, and the team has been home for the last week. The Magic also happen to be playing tremendous basketball, posting a 6-2 SU/7-1 ATS record in their last eight games. Orlando will likely not fall into the trap of letting down before the break, as they have one more game to play.
The market agrees with my assessment of this game as well. We saw this game open at Thunder -3 but we are down to -2 in most spots. The Magic are a tremendous defensive team as it is, but at home they allow the third fewest points per 100 possessions in non-garbage time (110.8). Orlando is also healthy. Not a single player is listed on the injury report as of this morning. It’s hard to pass up this spot with a red-hot team at home, so I won’t.
