Here are our favorite NBA prop bets for Monday, April 24:
Milwaukee Bucks (-7, 217.5) at Miami Heat – Game 4
Jrue Holiday is averaging 19.7 points per game in this series, but his total is down at 17.5 points for Game 4. Holiday also happened to average 19.3 points per game during the regular season, and he is just a guy that can generally be counted on to handle his business as a scorer. Even with Giannis Antetokounmpo set to return for this one, this is a play we really like.
While Giannis is back in the mix for Milwaukee, it’s hard to imagine him going right back to his usual usage rate. The Bucks shouldn’t need him to handle a massive workload in this game, especially with Jimmy Butler banged up and the Heat also being without Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo. Milwaukee should be able to continue leaning on Holiday, who has a good matchup in this series. The Heat don’t have many guys that defend the perimeter at a high level.
The presence of Giannis should also mean that Holiday will get a ton of open looks from 3. Overall, his job will be easier the rest of this series and he should continue to score.
Bet: Holiday Over 17.5 Points (-110)
Memphis Grizzlies at Los Angeles Lakers (-4.5, 220.5) – Game 4
It’s not easy to go out and have your fingerprints all over the defensive end of the floor, but Anthony Davis has done it all series. The big man is averaging 6.7 stocks (steals + blocks) per game against the Grizzlies thus far, and he has just been a menace on the defensive end. With that in mind, how can we not back him to have at least four stocks in Game 4 — especially at plus-money odds?
Davis has been playing at an extremely high level ever since the All-Star break, and it’s just hard to see him turning it off anytime soon. The only thing that can stop him from dominating on both ends is an injury. Of course, that’s a little more likely with Davis than anybody else. But either way, this is too good of value to pass up.
Bet: Davis Over 3.5 Blocks + Steals (+150)
