Las Vegas Raiders vs. Baltimore Ravens
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS)
Gardner Minshew posted 257 passing yards in Week 1 against a solid Chargers defense. Now the veteran takes on a Ravens team that has conceded Over his posted Passing Yards prop (200.5) in 14 of the last 19 games.
In the five games in which Baltimore managed to keep opposing teams Under the line during that span, the quarterbacks involved were Mason Rudolph, Geno Smith, Malik Willis, Jake Browning, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
Yeah, that’s a pretty bad list of names.
In addition, the Ravens have lost key defenders this offseason Jadeveon Clowney, Geno Stone, and Patrick Queen.
The bottom line here is that Las Vegas is most likely going to be playing from behind for the majority of the game, which should give us the benefit of a pass friendly game script.
Minshew has plenty of weapons, namely Davante Adams, that should allow him to cruise past the Over on Sunday.
NFL Best Bet: Gardner Minshew Over 200.5 Pass Yards (-110)
Would take up to Over 215.5 Passing Yards
Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals
Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX)
Kyren Williams was on the field for 91% of the Rams snaps in Week 1 and was called upon for 90% of the team’s carries against the Lions. That’s elite usage, even if he ended the game with just 50 yards on 18 carries.
Now, entering Week 2, Williams’ rushing total is set at Over/Under 75.5 yards against a Cardinals defense that conceded 150 yards on the ground to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.
Kyren has secured Over 74.5 rushing yards in seven of his last nine games, averaging 106 yards per game during that stretch.
The best part? Williams averaged 150 yards per game against the Cardinals last season.
If Kyren sees anywhere near the same usage from Week 1, he should knock down the Over with ease.
NFL Best Bet: Kyren Williams Over 74.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Would take up to Over 79.5 Rushing Yards
Chicago Bears vs. Houston Texans
Sunday, 8:20 pm ET (NBC)
Tank Dell caught three passes for 40 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. However, it’s important to note that the sophomore wideout saw the majority of deep targets from CJ Stroud and nearly caught a 50-yard touchdown.
Close doesn’t count on the stat sheet, but the opportunity was certainly there for a monster game, and this week Tank lines up against a Bears defense ranked 21st in receiving yards allowed.
Dell is Over his listed 44.5 receiving yards prop in four of the last five games in which has a reception. But more importantly, he has the ability to cash this prop in just one or two catches.
NFL Best Bet: Tank Dell Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Would take up to Over 55.5 Receiving Yards
