Tuesday Betting Recaps in NHL Stanley Cup, MLB
Favorites had a winning day on Tuesday led by the Vegas Golden Knights clinching their first Stanley Cup title in just their 6th season as home favorites of more than -200, plus chalk going 8-6 in MLB.
While the Golden Knights were favored to clinch the title in Tuesday’s night’s Game 5 and were around -125 faves heading into the championship round, they were not always favored as they opened around 16-1 to 18-1 after not making the playoffs last year. Even after having the best record in the Western Conference, they were still only the third betting choice entering the playoffs at around +550.
But they got the job done and the city-wide celebration began Tuesday night and Lord Stanley’s Cup (@StanleyCup) even Tweeted out that he was beginning his one-year Las Vegas residency.
Let’s get to the specific details of Tuesday’s night’s action with our daily betting recaps, and also update the spread and total records in each current major team sport (including wrapping up the betting stats in the NBA Finals and overall in the playoffs).
