Tonight’s only WNBA matchup features Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever vs. the Los Angeles Sparks. The Fever come into this game having won six of their last seven games and are playing as well as anyone in the league right now. The Sparks, on the other hand, have won just three of their last 21 games (!) and are easily the worst team in the league at this point after Dallas has gotten healthier and playing better.
Matchup-wise, the Fever boast the #2 offense in the T Shoe Index ratings, while the Sparks have the next-to-last worst defense, and on the other side, the Sparks’ offense is just ninth and the Fever’s defense is 10th (out of 12). So how can we bet this game? The Fever are 12-point favorites at home, with an Over/Under of 173.5 after opening 172.5 at Circa and 169.5 at DraftKings. TSI projects Indiana -8.5 with a total of 177, with some of my formulas reaching as high as 185.5.
