Last night, Caitlin Clark and the Fever smashed our Mystics +4.5 ticket, as the Fever are trending hotter than any team in the league right now, relative to its season-long rating. Chelsea Gray returned to the Aces lineup with a bang and the Aces took care of the Seattle Storm pretty easily with a wire-to-wire win. We did cash our WNBA best bet for the Lynx/Dream Under by 40 points, so that’s always fun to have a sweat-free winner, but I’d like to add some more to the “W” column for us, as this week has not been particularly kind despite TSI performing extremely well from an absolute error standpoint – even beating the closing line, on average, on totals during this brutal week. There are just two games on Thursday, with the Sky and Wings tipping off at noon ET and the Liberty and Sparks playing the evening game.

Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings
This was a game I personally bet and gave out sometime Wednesday morning when Chicago was just a 3-point favorite, but the line has now ballooned up to -6, with an Over/Under of 160.5. TSI projects Chicago -6.5 with a total of 161.5, so there’s no meat left on the bone here. Dallas has the lowest TSI rating in the league over its last five games, so this is a major fade spot for them despite me swearing off Chicago after their Fever debacle last game.
WNBA Best Bet: Stay away at current numbers
New York Liberty vs. LA Sparks
Fresh off the horrible news that star rookie Cameron Brink will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, the Sparks travel to New York to take on the new TSI #1 New York Liberty as 14.5-point underdogs with an Over/Under of 164. TSI projects the Liberty -17.5 with a total of 164.5, but I don’t love laying a huge number in a professional game. I would consider playing the Liberty team total Over when that gets released; it should be around 89.
